Bowie-Dick Test is a class 2 Chemical Indicator, used for evaluating efficiency of sterilizer systems. Bowie-Dick Test results as per EN ISO 11140-1, any unexpected color change in the test indicates that there was an air pocket present during the sterilization cycle, which can occur due to any malfunction in system or cycle. The Bowie-Dick test alerts the user to air-removal or steam-penetration failures so they can be corrected before sterilisation problems occur.
